INTRODUCTION-5.

Thus  the  very  name  'Mandukya Upanishad'  according  to  tye  old  Mahatma,  prepares  the  students  to  hear  something  of  their  intellectual  and  mental   follies  and  they  are  sufficiently  warned  that  the  very  declarations  have  been  the  least  wseetened  by  any  sentimentality  or  emotion.

The  Upanishad  declares  the  uncut,  raw  Truth  without  any  decorations  or  polish,  so  that  in  its  very  roughness  it  shall  wound  our  intellect  and  mind  and  make  us  revolt  against  very  concept  and  its  implication!
