MUNDAKOPANISHAD : CHAPTER-3. SECTION-1. MANTRAM-8. { Unique means of Self-realisation --- purification of mind. }

MUNDAKOPANISHAD

CHAPTER-3.

SECTION-1.

MANTRAM-8. { Unique  means  of  Self-realisation  ---  purification  of  mind. }

 Discussion-8. "Realisation,  thereafter,  is  immediate  and  fruitful"

When  reading  "Jnana  Prasada" or  "Atma  Prasada" or  " "Sattva  Prasada"  etc.,

a  true  student  of  Vedantam,  striving  in  the  path  honestly  to  follow  the  Eternal  footprints  of  the  Rishi-s,  should  understand  it  to  mean,  : -

"the  purification  gained  by  his  mind-intellect-equipment  through  a  renunciation  of  his  false  values,  wrong  attachments,  delusive  vanities  and  low  animal  instincts."

The  more  a  mind  is  redeemed  from  its  psychological  aberrations,  te  more  such  a  mind  becomes  subtle  and  pure.

A  pure  mind  agitates  the  least.

In  the  still  pool  of  theb  mind  a  clear  reflection  of  "Pure  Awareness" comes  to  play.

"REALISATION  THEREAFTER,  IS  IMMEDIATE  AND  FRUITFUL."

Discussion  of  Mantram -8. ENDS.

NEXT : MANTRAM-9. { Realisation  of  Self  in  human  body  through  purification  of  mind }

To be continued  .....
